Assessment

The Applied Social Research Unit (ASRU) conducts needs and resources assessment studies tailored to clients' requirements. ASRU staff members work with clients to develop an appropriate research design that may include:

• telephone or mail surveys;
• focus group discussions;
• key informant interviews;
• review and analysis of client's institutional data;
• analysis of public data and reports; and
• collection of best practices, models, and professional literature.

The ASRU makes recommendations for future action based on information elicited by research activities
