Email Sharon Mills
Sharon M. Mills is the director of the Applied Social Research Unit, where she manages research and training projects that aid program, organization, and community planning and development. Mills teaches survey research, evaluation, and grant writing techniques and was editor for Grant News from 1995 to 1998, a publication of grants and other assistance opportunities for rural communities. Mills consults with private industry to design and implement selection procedures. She is a member of St. John's Church in Clinton, Illinois; the Illinois Rural Health Association; the American Evaluation Association; and previously the Minority Advocacy Council of McLean County. Mills earned an M.S. degree in industrial and organizational psychology from Illinois State University, Normal, and a B.A. degree in psychology and communication from Marian College in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Sue Savage earned a B.A. degree in math and biology from Albion College in Michigan. She is a research assistant at the Applied Social Research Unit where she assists with survey development, data analysis, and desk-top publishing; manages the data entry for large scale surveys; manages production of project reports and presentations; supports proposal budget development; edits project reports; is editor of Grant News, including research and writing, and coordinates the Unit's Grant Writing Workshops.
